Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh visits and works with Artillery Corps

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh paid a visit and worked with the Artillery Corps under the Vietnam People’s Army on the evening of December 20, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army and the 35th anniversary of the All-People’s Defence Festival.

The Deputy Prime Minister praised and congratulated the Artillery Corps on its significant achievements over the past 78 years. He highly appreciated the dedication and sacrifices of generations of officers and soldiers, as well as the corps’ resounding victories.

Deputy PM Binh emphasised that in the new revolutionary phase, the Artillery Corps needs to continuously enhance its readiness and combat capability, develop strongly in the direction of professionalism and elite performance, and continue to maximise its operational capacity and mastery of modern equipment, weapons, and technologies.

He also urged the corps to strictly maintain military discipline and order and build a team of exemplary pioneers with strong political will, absolute loyalty to the Party, the nation, and the people, and readiness to fulfil all assigned tasks effectively.
