The program aimed to strengthen the solidarity and friendship between the two cities and offer an opportunity for Da Lat residents to learn more about Korean culture and people, while also introducing the RoK to Vietnamese culture and the "gentle, elegant, and hospitable" character of the Da Lat people.

Mayor of Chuncheon Yook Dong Han stated that the cultural and artistic exchange programme promotes mutual understanding and fosters friendship between the two localities and between the two nations.
During the exchange night, artists from Da Lat and Chuncheon showcased cultural performances representing each nation's unique identity. Artists from both cities also interacted with the audience.

The friendship between Da Lat and Chuncheon has been maintained since 2016, and evolved into a sister city relationship in 2019 during the 8th Da Lat Flower Festival.
