During a working session with Asian Tour, a professional golf tour in Asia, Son said that Da Nang is targeting high-spending tourists and developing high-quality tourism services in alignment with resort property.

He stated that the cooperation with Asian Tour to organise the Asian Development Tour golf tournament in the three years from 2022 to 2024 aims to position Da Nang on the regional and global golf tourism maps.

Son asked Asian Tour to support the promotion of Da Nang’s golf courses, assist in familiarisation trips and press trips to learn about the golf tourism potential in Da Nang, and invite key opinion leaders to join the efforts to advertise Da Nang on media channels.

For his part, Asian Tour CEO David Rollo affirmed that Da Nang has all the conditions to host regional and world-class golf tournaments.

Asian Tour pledged to support promoting Da Nang’s golf tourism and asked the city to consider joining the network of Asian Tour destinations.

At the working session with Singapore Airlines, Da Nang Vice Chairman Tran Phuoc Son asked the carrier to expand its services in Da Nang and support the promotion of travel to the area.

He also asked Singapore Airlines to help invite international travel agencies to take part in the Vietnam International Travel Mart, scheduled to take place in Da Nang in December 2022.
