Hosting a visiting delegation from the Department of Chemistry under the General Staff of the Lao People’s Army in Hanoi, Chien emphasised that the Vietnam-Laos special solidarity has always been maintained and fostered by their senior leaders and defence ministries. He said during the Vietnam-Laos and Laos-Vietnam Friendship Year 2022, the defence bodies coordinated to organise many activities of practical significance, contributing to promoting the special, faithful and pure relations.

Head of the department Colonel Thiem Homsan informed his host of a recent working session between the Lao delegation and the Chemical Corps of the Vietnam People's Army and vowed to encourage the implementation of the sides’ cooperation plan this year.

He hoped that the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence will create further conditions for such collaboration.

Taking into account outcomes of the two forces so far, Chien suggested they focus on boosting their experience exchange, and human resources training.

The Vietnamese ministry always supports and create all favourable conditions for the sides to strengthen their engagements serving the deepening of the countries’ defence cooperation, the official affirmed.
