According to Dang Hai Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Energy Efficiency Awards are held annually to recognise and honour enterprises operating in the field of industrial production with outstanding construction works in implementing solutions for energy saving and efficiency.
At the same time, the awards contribute to promoting and encouraging enterprises to implement advanced management and technology solutions to bring to the market products with outstanding technical features, high energy efficiency, and energy savings.
The awards are expected to contribute to the goal of achieving 8-10% energy savings of the National Programme on Energy Efficiency and Conservation in the 2019-2030 period.
The new point of the 2025 award is to add the category of Innovative and Creative Energy Efficiency Technology Solutions to the structure of the 2025 Highest Energy Efficiency Product Award.
This addition aims to strongly promote science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation activities in enterprises, thereby contributing to the successful implementation of Resolution No.57-NQ/TW (dated December 22, 2024) of the Politburo on breakthroughs in these areas. The period for receiving applications for the award is from September 25 to November 15.
