As in many other places, going to pagodas in the first days of Tet is a common activity for people in Hanoi. Facing the recent complicated developments of the COVID-19 epidemic, many people have been wishing for health instead of praying for wealthy as in the old years.

Right after the New Year's Eve, at the famous Quan Su Pagoda in the heart of Hanoi, people pray in the peaceful atmosphere and comply with regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control. Hand-sanitising spots are located at the entrances of Quan Su Pagoda. People wore masks and took full measures to prevent the epidemic.

At Tay Ho Temple, functional forces and management board members are regularly present to remind people to wear masks and implement epidemic preventive measures.
