Located at an altitude of 986m above sea level, Ba Den Mountain is known as the "roof of Southern Vietnam" and is the symbol of Tay Ninh province. As the only mountain emerging in the middle of a vast, flat plain, Ba Den Mountain can be admired from any angle when visitors set foot in Tay Ninh. |
The highlight of this mountain is the "Tay Bo Da Son” Bodhisattva statue located on the top of the 72m high mountain. The statue was designed, intricately carved, cast with more than 170 tonnes of red copper. It set a record by the Asian Records Organisation, as "Asia's tallest bronze Buddha statue located on top of a mountain". |

The statue of Ba Den Mountain in Tay Ninh and many other unique architectural works have demonstrated the outstanding economic potential of attracting a large number of tourists to visit and admire. As of December 31, 2023, Sun World Ba Den Mountain Cable Car station officially reached the milestone of 5 million visitors and has contributed to making Tay Ninh one of the top tourist destinations in the country. |

This area consists of four floors, where simulation versions of many classic Buddhist works are displayed, including many famous statues of Vietnam and internationally. Hundreds of meaningful artifacts show the development of Buddhist culture through many different stages and periods are gathered here. |

This is a technology that creates 3-dimensional images floating in the air, helping viewers observe 360-degree floating images without using a projection screen or using specialized glasses. With 16 holographic projection devices, models of 16 famous pagodas in Vietnam such as Bo Da pagoda, Vinh Nghiem, Phat Tich, Huong pagoda, But Thap, Thien Mu are recreated extremely vividly. |
The giant Maitreya Buddha statue, located at an altitude of over 900m on the top of Ba Den Mountain, has a height of 36 meters, a maximum width of 45m, a surface area of 4,651m2, and a weight of 5,112 tonnes. |
Compared to the largest Maitreya Buddha statues in the world created from stone, the Maitreya Bodhisattva Statue at Ba Den Mountain is the world's largest sandstone statue of Maitreya Buddha. |
The statue was shaped by a special method which was unprecedented in Vietnam: assembled from 6,688 natural sandstone pieces inspired by terraced fields. |
