The exhibition is part of activities during the 2022 National Tourism Year themed “Quang Nam – a green destination”.
Speaking at the exhibition, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong said the event is a chance to promote the potential and attractiveness of green tourism while raising public awareness of environmental protection and preservation of cultural and natural heritage.
The event draws the participation of 27 provinces in various regions including the east, northwest, Red River delta, north-central, central coast, central highlands and the south.
The exhibition features cultural heritages, famous destinations, unique community-based tourism and specialities of many localities.
Visitors to the exhibition will also be introduced to traditional handicraft products, thereby expanding the relations among traditional trade villages and between producers and visitors.
Notably, green tourism, an increasingly popular tourism form, will be promoted to both domestic and international tourists, towards sustainable development in the future.
This is also an opportunity for leaders of localities, experts, managers and enterprises to exchange and learn about the experience to preserve and promote Vietnam’s cultural heritage.
