Until April 12, fair goers will have the chance to purchase leading products at more than 250 booths from over 100 enterprises at the fair.
This year's fair aimed to diversify the products on display and bring about an opportunity for local enterprises to reach out to distant markets.
The event is also expected to provide a platform for Vietnamese enterprises to market their products, expand the domestic market and seek partnership, as well as discuss investment opportunities.
On display are agro-forestry and aquatic products as well as processed food, consumer goods, textile and apparel, machinery and equipment, furniture and interior decoration, construction materials and handicrafts.
The fair, held jointly by the Trade Promotion Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Kien Giang provincial People's Committee is part of the national trade promotion programme 2016.
Fair boosts trade and investment in Mekong Delta
The Mekong River Delta trade fair 2016 officially opened in Rach Gia city in the southern province of Kien Giang on April 7.
