Known as Vietnam Digital Finance (VDF), the annual event is a forum for policymakers, experts and service providers to discuss new trends in digital transformation in the financial sector.
In April 2023, the Ministry of Finance issued a digital transformation plan with the goal of developing big data and a national database on finance, as well as implementing a national electronic invoicing platform.
VDF 2023 was expected to offer many strategies and solutions to accelerate digital transformation in finance and the tax sector in particular.
At the plenary session, speakers focused on several issues such as mobilising national financial resources for digital data-driven sustainable development, building big data for tax analysis and development, and applying artificial intelligence in promoting economic development.
The workshop also included other sessions on tax management in e-commerce activities and the optimisation of digital data in the financial sector.
Within the framework of VDF 2023, there was an exhibition on the results of digital transformation in finance and tax management, as well as technologies on big data storage and analysis.
