The campaign is held jointly by the Vietnam Red Cross Association, the National Humanitarian Portal 1400, the Vietnam Women's Union, the Central Council of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organisation, the Vietnam Relief Association for Handicapped Children, and the Vietnam Association for Protection of Child Rights.

It calls on people across the country to make donations to provide foods, vehicles, canteens, and clean water facilities for poor and disabled children, those orphaned or affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and those living in disadvantaged areas, thus contributing to improving their nutrition and living conditions.

Accordingly, donations can be made by texting ‘TE’ to 1406. Each mobile text message contributes 20,000 VND to the campaign.

People can also donate via the Thien nguyen (Charity) 2022 application by opening a banking app, scanning QR Code, making a transfer with the content: YEU TRE and send to account number 2022 at Military Joint Stock Commercial Bank, account name: Hoi Chu thap do Viet Nam (Vietnam Red Cross Society).

The list of donors will be updated on Thien nguyen app.

The campaign is expected to raise 2.5 billion VND through texting, and 500 million VND through the Thien nguyen app.
