Statistics from the Customs Department show that the total value of goods export and import in July reached 82.29 billion USD, up 8% (equivalent to an increase of 6.10 billion USD) compared to the previous month.
Specifically, export reached 42.29 billion USD, up 7% (increased by 2.76 billion USD) and import reached 40 billion USD, up 9.1% (increased by 3.34 billion USD).
The goods trade balance recorded a surplus of 2.29 billion USD, down 20% compared to 2.86 billion USD in June.
In total, in the first 7 months of 2025, the total value of goods export and import reached 514.72 billion USD, up 16.3% (equivalent to an increase of 72.27 billion USD) compared to the same period in 2024.
Within that, export reached 262.46 billion USD, up 14.8% (increased by 33.92 billion USD) and import reached 252.26 billion USD, up 17.9% (increased by 38.35 billion USD).
The goods trade balance in 7 months recorded a surplus of 10.20 billion USD, down 30.3% compared to a surplus of 14.64 billion USD in the same period last year.
Regarding state budget revenue from export and import activities, in July, it reached 38,121 billion VND, down 2.7% compared to the previous month.
Accumulated from the beginning of the year to July 31, revenue reached 261,376 billion VND, equivalent to 63.6% of the estimate and 55.6% of the target, up 9.1% compared to the same period in 2024.
