The meetings were held in both in-person and online formats, conducted in a public and democratic manner in line with legal regulations. They provided voters with an opportunity to better understand the candidates’ programmes of action before casting their ballots.
At the meetings, voters heard brief introductions to the candidates’ biographies and work histories, as well as their proposed action programmes if elected as National Assembly deputies.
The candidates also pledged to maintain close ties with residents, listen to voters’ concerns, and convey their opinions to relevant authorities if elected.
As scheduled, from March 9–11, communes, wards, and special zones across Hai Phong City will hold voter meetings with candidates for the City People’s Council for the 2026–2031 term, which will also take place in both in-person and online formats.
