The three-day event will feature a book exhibition themed ‘Spreading knowledge – Constructing future’, and around 250 booths displaying books on the history and culture of Hanoi, as well as the latest publications of participating publishing houses.

Art performances, book-related contests, seminars, and cultural exchange programmes will also be held on the occasion.

Visitors to the festival can not only buy their favourite books at discounted prices but also exchange with famous writers such as Nguyen Ngoc Tien and Nguyen Truong Quy, who have authored many books about Hanoi.

The book festival aims to promote reading habits in the community and encourage the building of a learning society while introducing the cultural values of Hanoi and Vietnam to visitors at home and abroad.
