The event is part of series events of the Hue Festival 2026 and aims to elevate the Hue Beef Noodle Soup brand into a outstanding cultural and tourism product, affirming the position of the former imperial capital's cuisine.
The event is expected to feature around 80 food stalls from Hue and several other provinces and cities, including Ha Noi, Quang Tri, Nghe An, and Phu Tho. The information was announced by the Hue Department of Tourism at a press conference on the morning of July 10.
During the four-day "Hue Beef Noodle Soup Day", residents and visitors will have the opportunity to experience culinary traditions of regions, take part in the National Hue Beef Noodle Soup Festival, and enjoy the performance "The Legend of Van Cu and the Huong Ngu Symphony".
A highlight of the programme will take place on the afternoon of July 25, when the event will attempt to set a record for "The largest event preparing and presenting Hue Beef Noodle Soup for the greatest number of people to enjoy at the same time".
Within the framework of the programme, the Hue Department of Tourism and Acecook Viet Nam also signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the 2026–2030 period to promote Hue's culinary tourism.
