World gold prices on March 23 continued their downward trend, trading around 4,400/ounce USD as investors continue to sell off amid sharply rising oil prices and a strengthening US dollar. Domestically, the price of gold bars and gold rings has fallen sharply in line with world prices, selling at 169 million VND/tael.
