Infographic: VN-Index climbs 1.69% following slight drop
Viet Nam’s benchmark VN-Index rose by 1.69% to close at 1,680.5 points on October 28, recovering from a 1.82% decline in the previous session. The index ended the day 27.96 points higher, following a 30.64-point drop on Monday.
Global gold prices on February 23 climbed sharply to 5,140 USD per ounce as markets in several Asian countries reopened following the Lunar New Year holiday. In Viet Nam, domestic gold bar prices soared to 184.6 million VND per tael.
