Vietnam's benchmark VN-Index rose 0.43% to 1,265.05 points on January 24. The index closed 5.42 points higher after gaining 17.10 points in the previous session.
Global gold prices regained upward momentum on September 3 after a run of steep declines, trading at 4,423.9 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bar and ring prices reversed course and tumbled, listed at 148.4 million VND per tael and 147.9 million VND per tael, respectively.
