Vietnam's benchmark VN-Index rose 0.43% to 1,265.05 points on January 24. The index closed 5.42 points higher after gaining 17.10 points in the previous session.
Gold prices on the afternoon of October 3 continued to record a decline in SJC gold. Accordingly, most jewellery companies adjusted SJC gold bar prices down by 200,000 VND per tael in both buying and selling, bringing SJC gold bar prices to around 135.8 million VND per tael (buying) and 137.8 million VND per tael (selling).
