Viet Nam’s benchmark VN-Index rose 0.48% to 1,830.44 points on September 8. The index closed 8.8 points higher after losing 31.44 points in the previous session.
World gold prices edged down to 4,146.7 USD per ounce on October 2 amid a surge in US Treasury yields and a stronger US dollar. Domestically, SJC gold bar prices also fell in line with the global market, with buying and selling prices quoted at 140.5 million VND and 143.5 million VND per tael, respectively.
