Viet Nam’s benchmark VN-Index rose 0.60% to 1,323.05 points on May 21, highest since March 21. The index closed 7.9 points higher after Monday’s gain of 18.9 points.
Global gold prices declined on July 28, trading at 4,045 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bar and gold ring prices reversed course and fell sharply to 141.5 million VND and 141 million VND per tael, respectively.
