Viet Nam's benchmark VN-Index delined 1.45% to 1,843.72 points on January 26. The index closed 27.07 points lower after losing 11.94 points in the previous session.
Global gold prices plunged on August 11 after reversing course, trading at 4,347.8 USD per ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bars and gold rings fell by a total of 2 million VND per tael, with buying and selling prices standing at 140.5-143.5 million VND per tael.
