The expo features over 500 booths representing more than 350 domestic and foreign businesses including the Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany, Russia, Liechtenstein, Australia, India, Pakistan, the Republic of Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan (China) and Vietnam.
Businesses participating are displaying a wide variety of the latest pharmaceutical products including medicines, vitamins, tonics and herbal remedies.
State of the art equipment and technologies related to the manufacturing and packaging of pharmaceutical products are also on display; disease diagnosis (X-quang, CT); treatment, surgery, orthopedics and rehabilitation; as well as dentistry, ophthalmology and cosmetics.
Additionally, numerous seminars and conferences on the import and circulation of medical equipment as well as on waste management and environmental protection in health facilities, along with programmes introducing medical products, are being held during the expo, with the participation of both domestic and foreign experts.
The expo offers an opportunity for enterprises to make exchanges and boost trade connections, significantly contributing to long-term partnerships “for the health of community”.
The event, which is held jointly by the Vietnam Pharmaceutical Companies Association, the Vietnam Central Health Communication and Education Centre, ADPEX Joint Stock Company and the Vietnam Medical Products Import-Export Joint Stock Company (VIMEDIMEX VN), will run until September 26.
