Japanese Embassy opens condolence book for late PM Abe Shinzo

The Japanese Embassy in Vietnam will open a condolence book for the late Prime Minister Abe Shinzo on July 11-12 at its headquarters at 27 Lieu Giai Street in Hanoi.

People are required to present their ID cards when visiting the Embassy to pay respects to the late leader.

Former Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo died on July 8 after being shot while campaigning for the governing Liberal Democratic Party of Japan in the western city of Nara.

Abe Shinzo was the longest-serving prime minister in Japanese history.
