During the 2020-2021 period, Lang Son provincial Public Security planned and organised 18 “All people protect national security” movements and festivals at the grassroots level, especially in key and complicated areas.
The local public security has disseminated laws among more than 4,200 people and launched more than 30 models of security and order; handed over 13 classrooms, eight gratitude houses and a cultural house; and provided medical examination and treatment and presented hundreds of gifts to people.
Up to now, Lang Son has more than 80 models for ensuring security and order at the grassroots level. Over the past two years, people have provided over 2,000 valuable sources of information, that have helped authorities investigate and clarify cases to promptly catch criminals.
On the occasion, the Party Central Committee (PCC)’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation, gave gifts to the province’s Steering Committee No.138. The provincial Public Security also presented 30 gifts to policy beneficiary families who are living in difficult circumstances. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Security and Lang Son provincial People’s Committee awarded certificates of merit to four collectives and individuals, who have gained outstanding achievements during the “All people protect national security” movement.

During the festival, two self-management models of security and order will be launched and free medical treatment will be provided for 300 locals, in Hoa Son commune and neighbouring localities.
Two classrooms and several adjacent works will be put into operation in Trai Da village, Hoa Son commune.
On the same day, the “All people protect national security” festival was held in Tran Yen commune, Bac Son district.
At the event, the delegates reviewed the tradition and the role of the movement and discussed their experience in implementing the movement.
Various social security activities were held at the festival, such as free medical check-ups, the provision of free medicine and gifts to locals and the handing over of classrooms in Nooc Mo village.
On the occasion, Lang Son provincial Public Security organised a mass art festival themed “For peace in the border area of the Fatherland”.
