The season of blooming ‘o moi’ flowers is not only the season of recalling childhood memories beside the old ‘o moi’ trees but also the season for travelling and entertainment. Visitors can go to the countryside or a corner of the city to take photos with the typical flower of the Mekong Delta region.

‘O moi’ trees grow a lot along the rivers, in school gates, hamlets, on dikes, and canal banks. Many roads in the districts of Lap Vo, Thap Muoi, Tam Nong, Thanh Binh, Hong Ngu, etc., in Dong Thap Province are also filled with ‘o moi’ trees.

March is the time when ‘o moi’ flowers are more beautiful than ever. The pink ‘o moi’ flowers bloom in dense bunches, making the roads and localities brilliant.
