At the meeting, the National Assembly delegation of Hung Yen Province informed voters of the resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the 15-member National Assembly delegation of Hung Yen Province; appointed Mr. Dao Hong Van, member of the provincial Party Standing Committee, 15th National Assembly Delegate, and Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Hung Yen Province, to hold the position of head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Hung Yen Province; and announced the results of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Speaking at the meeting, NA Vice Chairman Nguyen Khac Dinh highly appreciated the opinions of voters; at the same time, he clarified some issues on the construction and implementation of two-tier local government and social security issues.
NA Vice Chairman Nguyen Khac Dinh emphasised hat to organise two-tier local administration, the National Assembly and the government have amended many laws and decrees, with the goal of building a government close to the people and serving the people more effectively. The merger of administrative units contributes to opening development space for localities, including Hung Yen Province.
On July 7 and 8, NA Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong and the National Assembly delegation of Quang Ngai Province had meetings with voters of the Kon Tum andCam Thanh wards after the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
According to NA Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong, the merger of Quang Ngai Province and Kon Tum Province to establish the new Quang Ngai Province will increaseadvantages in terms of geopolitics, geo-economics, people, resources, and economic structure, and combine strengths to open new development space.
The merger of the two provinces is not only a solution to organise the apparatus but also an institutional lever and an opportunity for comprehensive restructuring from administrative governance to spatial planning, resource allocation and infrastructure organisation in the regional development strategy, demonstrating the strategic vision of the Party.
On July 8, at the headquarters of Dong Hoi Ward, Quang Tri Province, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung, who is also a Party Central Committee Member and a National Assembly Delegate of the 15th tenure, attended the meeting with voters after the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly with the National Assembly delegation of Quang Tri Province.
Speaking at the meeting with voters, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung emphasised that the 9th Session is an important milestone in the institutional reform process, with many fundamental decisions. The National Assembly’s passing of a series of laws and resolutions has created a synchronous and modern legal corridor, aiming at an administration that better serves the people and businesses.
