NA Standing Committee concludes September law-making session

The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee officially concluded its law-making session on September 24.

During the nearly one-week session, the Standing Committee discussed a number of draft laws, including the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment (amended) and the Land Law (amended).

They also discussed draft laws to be submitted to the NA for the first time at its upcoming 4th session, slated for October, including the law amending and supplementing the Law on Electronic Transactions; the Law on Prices (amended); the Law on Cooperatives (amended); and the Law on Bidding (amended).

The NASC also considered and approved two draft resolutions amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No.1210/2016/UBTVQH13 on urban classification and of Resolution No.1211/2016/UBTVQH13 on the standards and classification of administrative units.

In addition, the Standing Committee spent a day discussing 4 drafts of detailed monitoring plans and report outlines of 4 supervisions in 2023.

Addressing the closing session, National Assembly Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai asked the Secretary General, the NASC and NA bodies to urgently complete the conclusions and announce the conclusions to prepare for the next meeting of the NASC in October as well as the upcoming 4th session of the 15th National Assembly.
