Hai, currently the Party Secretary of Thai Nguyen Province, assumed the new role starting on June 25, following the signing of a resolution on her appointment by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
Hai was previously elected as a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee.
Hai was born in 1970 in Hanoi and holds a doctorate in physics.
She had served in various posts, including Vice Chair of the Vietnam Youth Federation, Vice Chair of the National Assembly Office, and Head of the National Assembly Committee for Culture, Education and Youth, Adolescents and Children.
