New Zealand naval ship visits Ho Chi Minh City

The Royal New Zealand Navy ship, HMNZS Te Mana carrying 25 officers and 145 sailors on board docked in Ho Chi Minh City on April 24, starting a six-day visit to Vietnam.

During the stay, the officers and sailors are scheduled to pay courtesy calls to leaders of the municipal People’s Committee, the Staff of Military Zone 7 and the Command of Naval Zone 2.

They will share experience with officers and sailors of the Vietnam Navy, take part in several social activities in the city and play sports with cadets of Naval Technical College .

They will also lay wreaths at the Ho Chi Minh Monument in the city.
