Petrol prices down by 1,500 VND per litre under latest adjustment

The retail prices of petrol were reduced further in the latest adjustment on December 12 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry Finance.

The price of RON 95-III petrol went down 1,500 VND per litre to 21,200 VND (0.90 USD) per litre from 3pm on December 12.

Meanwhile, the retail price of E5 RON 92 decreased by 1,330 VND to 20,340 VND per litre.

The prices of oils were also adjusted down, with that of diesel oil cut by 1,540 VND to 21,670 VND per litre, and that of kerosene down by 1,660 VND to 21,900 VND per litre. Mazut oil was priced at 13,010 VND per kg, a decline of 940 VND.

The two ministries also determined to extract 300-400 VND per litre from petrol and 500-800 VND per litre from diesel and kerosene prices for the petrol price stabilisation fund.
