Petrol prices go up in latest adjustment

The retail prices of petrol products in Vietnam have gone up by 380-490 VND per litre, following the latest adjustment effective from 3 pm on March 13.

A litre of RON95-III petrol is now priced at 23,818 VND (1.01 USD), up 493 VND, while E5 RON92 petrol climbed by 385 VND to 22,806 VND per litre, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The price of 0.05S diesel oil rose by 247 VND to 20,502 VND per litre, while the same amount of kerosene went up by 241 VND to 20,715 VND and mazut rose by 724 VND to 15,279 VND per kilogram.

The latest adjustment was originally scheduled for March 11 but was delayed by two days since March 11 was a Saturday.

Petrol prices in Vietnam are adjusted three times a month on the first, 11th and 21st days.
