Jointly held by the Government and the NA Standing Committee, the event was connected with sites in the 63 cities and provinces.

In his opening remarks, PM Chinh stressed that the Party and the State have seen institution building and perfection as one of the major strategic breakthroughs, adding since the beginning of the tenure, the Government convened 28 sessions on law building and issued more than 380 decrees.

The 15th legislature has also approved more than 60 legal documents so far, of them 11 laws and 12 resolutions passed at its seventh session, which lasted from May 20 to June 29, he said.

It is not easy to issue laws and resolutions, and even much more difficult to put them in place, he said, asking participants to look into new, main contents and tasks, as well as obstacles to the implementation work, and propose feasible, practical solutions to enhance coordination and consensus among agencies to better the work.

The leader also emphasised the need to fight corruption and other negative phenomena in law building.
