PM attends 76th national conference of public security forces

The 76th national public security conference opened in Ho Chi Minh City on December 7 in the presence of Politburo member and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

Speaking at the conference, the Prime Minister asked the public security forces to identify challenges, fix shortcomings and to take drastic and effective action to meet the demands of a changing world, including Industry 4.0, non-traditional threats and global instability.

They are required to firmly maintain national security, ensure social safety and order in every circumstance, absolutely protect the security and safety of party congresses at all levels towards the 13th National Party Congress and the political, cultural and diplomatic events of the country.

More attention must be paid to improving the efficiency of State management on security and order, contributing to building a lawful State of the people, by the people, and for the people, the Government leader noted.

On this occasion, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc presented Armed Forces honour Medals to four leaders of the Ministry of Public Security.

The Public Security Portal was also officially launched at the conference.
