Party Central Committee Office deploys tasks for 2021

The Party Central Committee (PCC) Office held a ceremony on December 30 to review its activity in 2020 and deploy tasks for 2021, in the presence of Permanent member of the PCC’s Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong.

Speaking at the event, Politburo member Vuong praised the achievements attained by the PCC Office in the past year, stating that despite multiple difficulties and challenges, the Office has performed well its advisory role with increasing quality.

He highlighted the significance of 2021 in which the 13th National Party Congress and the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and all-level People’s Councils (2021-2026 tenure) will be held. It will also be the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the five-year socio-economic development plan (2021-2025).

He asked for the Office’s utmost efforts right from the beginning of 2021 to contribute to the success of the 13th National Party Congress.

After the congress, the PCC Office should coordinate closely with agencies to advise on the building of the working regulations of the PCC, the Politburo and the PCC’s Secretariat (13th term), the whole-tenure working programme of the 13th PCC, and the working programme of the Politburo and the PCC’s Secretariat in 2021, Vuong said.

He urged the Office to strengthen professional training for staff and consolidate the team of employees at its advisory affiliates in the time ahead.

At the conference, Politburo member Vuong awarded the second-class Independence Order to Tran Van Thanh, former deputy chief of the PCC Office. Many collectives and individuals of the Office were also presented with the Prime Minister’s certificates of merit.

On the occasion, the PCC Office launched an emulation movement for 2021.
