The Politburo member made the requirement at a working session with leaders of the provincial Party Committee on the implementation of the Resolution of the 12th Party Congress, on July 2.
Accordingly, the province has reviewed and supplemented a number of regulations on personnel development and personnel planning for leadership positions in the 2015-2020 period, with a vision to 2025.
The province also reported an average GRDP of 3.14% in the 2016-2017 period with an average income per capita of VND49.8 million.
The working session also considered the promulgation of a specialised mechanism for Ly Son island district, while avoiding overlaps in the management over the district.
Politburo member Vuong also told the province to renew its leadership methods every year, while streamlining its personnel in order to ensure the effectiveness of the political system.
On the occasion, the Party leader visited and presented gifts to senior revolutionary veteran and former Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Pham Thanh Bien.
