During talks with the affected households, Secretary Nhan said that the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has issued Notice No 2336 which outlines the establishment of a Working Group to handle citizens' complaints about land reclamation, compensation and resettlement support.

Regarding the complaints related to plots within or outside the project's boundary plans, the city leader said that the municipal authorities will issue a document to answer resident's complaints within one month, after the issue is reviewed and concluded by the Government Inspectorate and the Prime Minister.

With regard to complaints about the misuse of land, the Working Group will review, inspect and deal with the violations within 45 days of the conclusion of the Government Inspectorate, Secretary Nhan noted.

In case the actual use of land is found to be correct but related residents make complaints about unreasonable compensation and resettlement support, the Working Group will review each dossier at the time of compensation to clarify the issues within 60 days of the conclusion of the Government Inspectorate, the city leader said.
