Hanoi leaders commemorate predecessors, President Ho Chi Minh

A Hanoi delegation led by Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai offered incense to Kinh Ly Thai To at his statue in the Ly Thai To Garden, visited Ngoc Son Temple and King Le Thai To’s Monument in Nam Huong Temple historical relic site, predecessors at the Thang Long Royal Citadel, and late President Ho Chi Minh at House No.67, in Hanoi, on February 5.

On behalf of the Party, authorities and people of the city, Politburo member Hoang Trung Hai expressed his profound gratitude for their devotion to national independence and freedom and people’s happiness.

The leader reported the city’s results achieved in the past year, and offered direction for 2019 with determination to innovate and accelerate development.

At House No.67, the President Ho Chi Minh relic site, Politburo member Hoang Trung Hai and Hanoi’s leaders expressed their respect and gratitude to late President Ho Chi Minh, who founded and trained the Viet Nam Communist Party, for his great contributions to the nation's revolution.

The Hanoi’s leaders and citizens will continue to study and follow the President’s ideology, morals and lifestyle, he said.

On the occasion, the Hanoi leaders gave gifts to staff and officials of the Ho Chi Minh relic site. Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai expressed his delight over their efforts to preserve and introduce documents and exhibits about President Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary career to local people and international friends.

He expressed his hope that they would follow Uncle Ho’s teachings and thoughts as well as promote solidarity to popularise his ideology, morality and style.
