Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh made the above statement while working with leaders and key officials of Vinh Long Province on February 15.

Speaking at the working session, the Deputy PM appreciated the efforts made by the province to prevent and control the complicated movements of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The province has put the public administration centre into the operation, contributing to the quick and effective settlement of procedures for people and enterprises, as well as focused on the start-up activities, improvement of competitiveness and implementation of preferential policies for revolutionary contributors.

However, Deputy PM Binh emphasised the current issues that the province is facing, such as criminals of social order and the complicated development of sand exploitation.

He asked Vinh Long to review, integrate, perfect and develop new policies, mechanisms and projects to implement the three breakthroughs according to the plans approved by the PM.

The locality should improve the efficiency of the urbanisation and the sustainable development of environment; synchronously implement its competitiveness index; build an innovative start-up ecosystem; develop industrial parks to attract more human resources, added the Deputy PM.
