At the meeting, local voters spoke highly of the outcomes of the legislature’s ninth session, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, while giving proposals concerning a number of pressing issues.

Notably, Thuong Tin voters proposed that the NA consider amending the Land Law to address overlapping in land fund management and development. They also offered some recommendations to the city regarding local socio-economic development projects.

Local voters proposed that the city promptly implement the building of the Phu Xuyen satellite city, as well as projects to renovate, upgrade and expand National Highway 1A, and to construct an axis road connecting the district’s eastern and western areas.
