President to attend APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in US
President Vo Van Thuong and his wife will lead a high-level delegation from Vietnam to attend the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Week in San Francisco, the US and have bilateral activities in the country from November 14-17.

The trip is made at the invitation of US President Joe Biden, announced the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on November 9.
Dhananath Fernando, Chief Executive Officer of the Colombo-based Advocata Institute, has described the state visit to Sri Lanka by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee and State President To Lam from May 7–8 as an important catalyst for elevating bilateral ties and expanding cooperation in the years ahead.
