Red River Delta Industry and Trade Fair opens in Ha Nam

Co-organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the People's Committee of Ha Nam province, the event aims to promote trade and investment activities, to create opportunities for enterprises in the Red River Delta region in particular and the whole country in general, to introduce brands and expand the consumption market.

At the same time, it is an opportunity for enterprises to exchange information, seek partners, exploit the potential of localities and expand international cooperation.

Speaking at the opening of the fair, Nguyen Duc Vuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province and Head of the Fair's Organising Committee, emphasised that the Red River Delta Industry and Trade Fair - Ha Nam 2023 is a part of the National Programme on Trade Promotion.

The fair features 285 booths showcasing industrial products, handicrafts, local specialities, consumer goods, household appliances and farm produce.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vu Ba Phu, Director General of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, under the Ministry of Industry and Trade emphasised, the fair is an effective bridge for businesses to expand markets, cooperation and investment, contributing to boost domestic purchasing power and enhance effective exploitation of the domestic market with great potential.

At the same time, this event also contributes to improving the competitiveness and integration of Vietnamese businesses, products and brands.

The fair contributes to promoting and introducing economic, cultural and social achievements, potentials, advantages, brands, products, services, and traditional industries of each province and city.

This is also an opportunity to display and introduce typical agricultural products, OCOP products, and typical rural industrial products of provinces and cities, and promote trade promotion activities, investment and tourism between the provinces of the Red River Delta region and other regions in the country.
