>>> V.League: Manh Hung’s own goal secures three points for Hanoi FC
Vu Tien Thanh’s side continued to boast the power that has left them undefeated since the beginning of the season as they needed just one minute to take the lead, with Magno assisting Quoc Phuong to slot home from close range.
After the unexpected goal, the guests put up their attacks in search of an equaliser, producing constant crosses from the two flanks into the centre of the area, but this tactic did not appear to work.
With the hosts taking control of the match, the second goal came to them as a matter of fact. In the 33rd minute, Brazilian midfielder Geovane Magno drove an eye-catching powerful left-footed strike from outside the edge of the box to put Saigon two goals in front.

Quoc Phuong added the third goal for Vu Tien Thanh’s troops four minutes after the break by lofting a subtle shot over goalkeeper Dinh Xuan Viet in a one-on-one.
The safe margin enabled the home side to continue implementing their favoured counterattacking style, with Xuan Toan and Tan Tai wasting several opportunities to widen their advantage in the remainder of the game.
The resounding victory helped Saigon FC extend their unbeaten run in V.League 2020 to 10 matches, further solidifying their grip at the top of the table with 22 points, four clear of second-placed Viettel and five above Ho Chi Minh City.

Song Lam Nghe An dropped to 10th place in the table following a 1-2 loss against Viettel, marking their fifth straight game in which they missed out on the full three points.
