The association also officially launched a dedicated digital platform for ongoing connectivity within the business community.
The forum aims to strengthen strategic links between small and medium-sized enterprises and corporations, banks, investment funds, consulting organisations, and technology partners. This will help expand cooperation opportunities, diversify funding sources, develop supplier networks, and enhance business competitiveness.
Discussions at the forum focused on four areas for action: diversifying funding sources; strengthening corporate governance, financial transparency, and legal compliance; promoting localisation and developing domestic suppliers; and linking growth with digital and green transformation, innovation, brand development, and deeper integration into global value chains.
Promoting M&A as a tool for restructuring and growth attracted particular attention from the business community. For SMEs, M&A can create opportunities to secure additional capital, gain access to technology, expand markets, strengthen corporate governance, and increase enterprise value.
As part of the forum, the organising committee held an in-depth B2B Matching programme to directly connect businesses seeking capital, investors, and strategic partners with financial institutions, investment funds, and consulting firms.
Of the 43 businesses registering for B2B Matching, the organising committee categorised their needs, reviewed their applications, and selected suitable businesses for the in-depth matchmaking programme.
Notably, the forum’s official website, cefhanoi.vn, has been launched as a dedicated digital platform for ongoing connectivity within the business community.
Through the platform, businesses can update and register B2B needs and seek opportunities related to investment, M&A, financing, suppliers, partners, markets, and relevant support programmes.
According to the organising committee, requests submitted through the platform will be categorised, matched with relevant partners, and followed up after the forum. In this way, the Capital Economic Forum aims to build an ecosystem for continuous, substantive, and measurable resource connectivity, rather than limiting its role to a one-off event.
