The event aimed to provide a platform for over 100 representatives from businesses, investors, and experts, to exchange information and engage in in-depth discussions on macroeconomic issues, particularly the impact of the latest US trade policies on Vietnam.

During the seminar, experts focused on three main topics on the new challenges from US trade policies, including analyses of trade tensions, new tariffs, and trends in supply chain shifts; the policies’ impacts on the financial market, especially the fluctuations in exchange rates, interest rates, and investment flows; and opportunities that Vietnam can leverage from the policies, including benefits from trade diversification, and infrastructure investments.

Participants agreed that in a globally dynamic environment, understanding trends and preparing appropriate business strategies will help Vietnamese businesses capitalise on opportunities and minimise risks.

Through this seminar, the organisers hoped to enhance the business community's awareness of challenges and opportunities in the rapidly changing global economy, thus developing effective and sustainable strategies to better their operation.
