Quang Binh, Binh Dinh and Gia Lai will see heavy to very heavy rain, with common rainfall of 50-100mm, and even over 150mm in some places.
From September 28 to the night of September 29, in the North Central region, there will be moderate to heavy rain, and very heavy rain in some places, with a common rainfall of 100-250mm, and even over 300mm in some places.
The northern delta and coastal regions as well as Hoa Binh will face moderate to heavy rain, with a common rainfall of 70-150mm, and even over 180mm in some places. From September 28 to 29, the Hanoi area will see moderate rain and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in places.
On the day and night of September 28, the area from Phu Yen to Binh Thuan, in the South-Central and Central Highlands regions, there will be showers and thunderstorms with heavy localised rain, with rainfall of 20-40mm, and even more than 70mm in some places (the rain and thunderstorms will be concentrated in the afternoon and evening).
Thunderstorm warnings in the South-Central, Central Highlands and Southern regions will remain for the next several days.
During the thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong winds. Mountainous areas are warned of high risks of flash floods and landslides; meanwhile, low-lying and riverside areas are warned of localised flooding.
