The Royal Thai Embassy in Viet Nam, in coordination with the Viet Nam News Agency (VNA), opened a photo exhibition themed “The Lens of Diplomacy: 50 Years of Thailand–Viet Nam Relations” in Ha Noi on July 24 morning, in celebration of the 50th founding anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries (August 6, 1976–2026).

The Vietnamese Embassy in Canada, as Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa, hosted a ceremony marking ASEAN Day to celebrate the 58th founding anniversary of the bloc (August 8, 1967 – 2025), the 30th anniversary of Viet Nam’s ASEAN membership, and the 48th anniversary of ASEAN–Canada relations.

On the evening of June 19, the Embassy of New Zealand in Viet Nam held a celebration, themed “Connecting Stars, Bridging Nations”, in Hanoi to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (June 19, 1975 –2025).
