Prime Minister Le Minh Hung received Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam He Wei in Ha Noi on May 12.

Ambassador and Head of the Vietnamese Mission to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) Mai Phan Dung on April 10 met with WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to exchange views on the outcomes of the 14th WTO Ministerial Conference (MC14) and the organisation’s future work orientation, and to reaffirm Viet Nam’s support for the multilateral trading system.

On the afternoon of December 13, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Party Central Committee member and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung received Ambassador Dhan Bahadur Oli, non-resident Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal to Viet Nam, on the occasion of the Ambassador’s visit to present his Letters of Credence.

Ambassador Do Hung Viet presented his credentials to United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres at the UN Headquarters in New York on June 20, officially beginning his tenure as Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Viet Nam to the United Nations.
