The Prime Minister has issued Directive No. 07/CT-TTg on accelerating the production, blending, distribution, and use of biofuels in Viet Nam.

Retail prices of major petrol products were adjusted from 15:00 on February 20 following a joint decision by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance.

Viet Nam will officially transition to the use of E5 and E10 biofuels from June 1, 2026 in line with a roadmap prepared over many years by the Government and relevant ministries and sectors.
