State budget revenue in the first two months of the year reached 601.3 trillion VND (22.93 billion USD), equivalent to 23.8% of the year’s estimate and up 13.1% compared to the same period in 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. Budget spending continued to be ensured according to the approved plan.

Ho Chi Minh City recorded State budget revenue of nearly 781.6 trillion VND (29.74 billion VND) by December 30, 2025, significantly surpassing targets set by both the Government and the municipal People’s Council, according to figures announced on December 30.

Total revenue managed by tax authorities reached approximately 2.15 quadrillion VND (81.7 billion USD) as of December 14, exceeding the estimate by 25% and fulfilling the State budget revenue task in line with the Prime Minister’s directives.

The total State budget collection in the first eight months of this year has been estimated at 1.2 quadrillion VND (51.3 billion USD), equivalent to 85.6% of the annual target, according to the Ministry of Finance.
