Total donations to the “65 Years of Viet Nam–Cuba Solidarity” campaign reached 615 billion VND (23.34 million USD), 9.5 times higher than the initial target, heard the campaign's closing ceremony in Hanoi on October 18.

As of 6 pm on August 17, the fundraising campaign “65 Years of Viet Nam–Cuba Solidarity,” launched by the Viet Nam Red Cross Society (VRCS), had received more than 310.9 billion VND (more than 12.3 million USD) in support of the Cuban people, over 400% of the initial goal of 65 billion VND.
